while attending STARBASE, they provide for additional security—everyone

Retiring Board Members
Recently, several long-time Wyoming STARBASE Foundation Board members have announced their "retirement" from our Board because their terms have ended. We at Wyoming STARBASE Academy would like to thank these Board members for their service and dedication to STARBASE.
- MG Ed Wright, Wyoming National Guard - he served on the Board since 2003, after becoming Wyoming's Adjutant General. He retired from that position in April, 2011.
- Rep. Pete Illoway, House District 42 - he served 3 terms as a Board member, serving since 2002.
- Mr. Bill Russell, Wyoming Attorney General's Office - he served 2 terms as a Board member, serving since 2005.
- Ms. Wynema Thompson, CPA - she served 2 terms as a Board members, serving since 2005.
Again, we would like to thank these members for all their contributions and service over the past years!
BNSF Foundation Grant
Wyoming STARBASE Academy was very surprised when members of the Burlington Northern Santa Fe (BNSF) Railway Foundation donated $5,000 to Wyoming STARBASE Foundation! In conjunction with the BNSF train ride to honor veterans and current military members, BNSF presented the donation to our Foundations. Buzz got the honor of accepting the donation.
Wyoming STARBASE was able to use these funds to purchase headphones for our computers, as well as iPads and iPad apps. Our cadets have been using the iPads during some of their "missions" and have really like using them.
A heartfelt "THANK YOU" goes out the the BNSF Foundation, BNSF Railway, and BNSF Employees for their kindness and generosity!
WySBA Director Brian "Buzz" Wright accepts a check from BNSF AVP of State Government Affairs Andrew Johnsen. Col. Shelly Campbell, State Program Manager for WySBA, looks on.
