This picture was taken from the roof of a nearby building when STARBASE students were launching rockets near the STARBASE building. It was taken by base photographer, SMS Bob Watkins, or as everyone calls him, Photo Bob. Thanks, Bob. (continued below picture).

As you can see from the angle of launch, this was a rare day in Cheyenne -- the wind was barely blowing. That allowed us to launch almost straight up. Notice the construction materials behind the class. There's a great deal of building going on this year. This is the two fifth grade classes from West Elementary in Burns, Miss Thorne and Mrs. Cushing.
